Module Overview
This is Module 1 of the SIMFX® Application Skills course, a CPD-certified pathway delivered as two one-day modules. Completing both modules within 6 months earns 14 CPD credits.
A one-day, hands-on module covering the essential techniques of moulage artistry. You will learn to create realistic cuts, grazes, bruising, and minor burns using professional-grade materials. Designed for simulation technicians, educators, and healthcare trainers who want to bring clinical scenarios to life.

Do I need prior moulage experience?
No. Level 1, Introduction to Trauma Makeup is designed as an entry point. All materials and tools are provided on the day.

Wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting product on. Everything else is supplied.
Is this module CPD certified?
Yes. This module is independently certified by The CPD Certification Service. CPD credits are awarded on completion of both Level 1 and Level 2 within 6 months of the course start date.
